Jonathan B. Butler, Esq. is a successful trial lawyer with over 30 years of experience in business, financial and securities related disputes.

Jonathan has substantial experience in complex business and financial litigation in state and federal court involving a variety of business and commercial disputes, including corporate, partnership, joint venture and limited liability company disputes, officer and director liability, restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, contractual disputes, fraudulent and unfair trade practices, and other business-related torts. In addition, Jonathan has significant experience in litigating labor and employment disputes.

Jonathan also represents investors, financial advisors, and brokerage and advisory firms in a wide range of securities and investment related matters throughout Florida and the United States, including disputes arising out of improper sales practices and unsuitable investments in equities, bonds, mutual funds, fixed income, managed accounts, annuities and alternative investments. Jonathan has extensive experience in arbitration and mediation of customer, industry and employment disputes before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and in state and federal courts. In addition, Jonathan frequently counsels and represents advisors and firms in regulatory enforcement and disciplinary proceedings involving the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other financial regulatory authorities.

Jonathan's practice also includes property damage and related insurance claims, including claims for diminished value and loss of use resulting from accident or other damage to his client's luxury, exotic or rare vehicles. Jonathan pursues the at-fault driver's insurance company to obtain fair compensation for the loss of market value to vehicles that have been damaged and repaired due to a "dirty Carfax report", as well as compensation for the client's loss of use of the vehicle during the repair process.
